Park Avenue Nursery School (PANS) is located on the Wendell Ave entrance of the Union Presbyterian Church (no affiliation). PANS offers a safe environment that is spacious, airy, clean and bright. There is also year-round, outdoor play on weather permitting days. Park Avenue facilities are comprised of three connected, spacious rooms. The first room children walk into is the "blue room". This is where they will hang up their coat and backpack in their cubbies, sign in at the easel and enjoy free-play until the bell rings. This room focuses on gross and fine motor development. During free-play, they are allowed to use the front blue room and the middle "pink room". This room is where the children can use their imaginations. There they will find dress-up clothes, kitchen equipment, a doll house, building blocks and other role-playing items. The last room is the "yellow room". In this room, the children will do their craft activities, planning and weather, eat a snack and whatever else requires sit-down time. On weather permitting days, the kids get to play outside. **See Below** |
